InnerCHANGE Modesto

We have served with InnerChange since 2007 when we moved to San Francisco, CA to join the San Dimas team. Our focus was sharing the good news of Jesus with incarcerated and gang affiliated youth. We then followed God’s invitation to Oakland, CA and served our neighbors through English classes, soccer, Bible studies, jail visits and outdoor ministry for 12 years. During that time our family grew and we had four boys. In 2021, we sensed that a change was on the horizon for us. Most of the families that we had ministered to were thriving, many of our neighbors were moving to the valley of CA, and we were rapidly outgrowing our 2 bedroom apartment. We began to pray and in 2022 we said yes to God’s invitation to move to Modesto, CA.

Currently we are a family of 6 on mission together. Our team vision is to love God and love people by making disciples of Jesus and equipping and empowering them to be leaders who transform their communities by doing justice, loving mercy and walking humbly with God. Presently we are facilitating discovery Bible studies, partnering with churches and nonprofits and building relationships with youth and families in marginalized neighborhoods.
