InnerCHANGE Boston works among homeless youth and young adults (ages 14-30) in the Cambridge/Boston area. Our InnerCHANGE community serves homeless youth in Harvard Square and elsewhere in Boston as advocates, counselors, street pastors, and friends. Many of our young people struggle with past trauma, mental illness, and drug/alcohol addiction. The IC Boston community seeks to provide a healthy community where healing and hope can be found.

Minneapolis (1 Year Apprenticeship)

The Minneapolis team has been in existence for 16 years. Over those years we have had many expressions of ministry as the composition of the team has changed. The one consistent thread that has tied the ministry efforts together has been our longing to establish new, simple churches of the poor. Apprentices will be involved in exploring ways in which God may use them to open new avenues for service and the building of relationships. If possible, apprentices will be housed in an apartment building that is a focus of one of our ministry efforts.

2012-13 San Francisco Outer Circle Apprenticeship

The vision of the Outer Circle is to invite the lonely, the outcast, and the wanderer into restoration of their entire being by drawing them to Christ, bringing them into community, giving them what we have, and by being their friends.

For the past 12 years the Outer Circle has ministered among the traveling street youth of the Haight Ashbury neighborhood in a variety of ways including street outreach, hospitality, discipleship, and traveling. We continue to pursue these youth in whatever ways we feel like God is calling us.
